Love to come again

Dear all,

Thank you for this weekend relaxed, quiet, tasteful and wonderful weekend. Your family made this house a nice home for us where we enjoyed the best Balinese food and did some great fishing; one whole Makrel we caught. We would love to come again soon and will recommend it to our friends.

"Bali gets into you soul"

We could easily have filled 7 pages with our experiences at and around  Sinar Cinta. Two weeks of absolute bliss! Thank you Wayan, Nengah, Komang, Putu and Kadek for contributing to a wonderful holiday. You have spoilt us with great food, lovely fruitjuices, coconut fresh from the tree.  Pisang goreng for breakfast on the first day of the new year. You were kind and patient with us. Also we had a lot of fun together, lots of laughs. The ultimate surprise Komang singing with Mary while Wayang was fanning for cool air. Terima kasih, all of you. Last but not least: thank you Ita en Mary. You have given us the Bali experience which we would'nt have had without you. "Bali gets into you soul" Ita said. It does xxx

Terima kasih banyak

Dear Kadek, Putu, Komang, Wayan, and Nengah,

Gertruud and I were more often in Bali and already experienced the wonderfull island and kindness of the Balinese people. We again enjoyed this week to the max. For the other 4 members of the group this was the first time in Bali and they were very impressed. The staff really spoiled us with their excellent service, wonderfull cooking and showing the best part of East Bali. Special Thanks to: Kadek. For his excellent guiding and driving. It was nice talking to you when we were on the road. I will never forget our "night talk" when we came driving back from Jimbaran to Amed after a very long day.Wayan for her excellent cooking and the coconut. Komang for arranging everything in the villa and always suggesting a nice dinner like the Babi Guling, the prawn, and not to forget the Rendang... Gertruud and I know where to go after we explore some more Indonesian Islands in the future. We hope to see you again in near future and wish you all the best and Putu of course lot of happiness with Hakon. Terima kasih banyak. Gertruud and Louis, papa Louis, Margo, Agnes and Henk

King & Queen

So here we arrived last week : two midlife backpackers travelling to see another part of the world. And what a feeling to open the gate of this house and step into this small garden. For a whole week, we feel like a king and a queen in our own palace on the beach of Amed. We usually travel simple and with only basic comfort but the decision to rent this beautifull vila is something we will never forget. Everything was perfect : The view , luxury, the people working here, the garden, the cool seabreeze, the moon in the night, the pool.... Just being here was a unforgettable, relaxing experience, The small village of Amed in the low season is so nice and quite. And the whole east part of Bali is beautifull. We went to thank the family that work in and around the house. As we are not used to being served, we always tried to give them our deepest respect and because of that we received a lot of respect back. Now we will pack and move to lombok and to area of Ubud. But we will certainly comeback here one day. That is a promise! Thank you to everybody we met this short week.

Live twice

We can't imagine a better place to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Thanks for the overwhelming experience we had with you, including our own Balinese wedding ceremony. We feel very honoured to be part of this family.

Fantastic guide

Kadek turned out to be not only a good driver, but also a fantastic guide. Definitively we would not have been able to do so much if we would have had to find out all by our selves. It was the luxury of absolute private touring. We got a very good image of all the most important sites in Bali, from rural, authentical, to spoiled touristic. We now know, that we surely would not have been better off in any other place of this island, unless you would choose (and pay) for the luxury area in Nusa Dua, where you never would have had the total independence like we had in Sinar Cinta. In the end, we have appreciated the food in the villa and the wonderful fresh fruit juices more than what we took outside.

Read and see more about our experiences on the weblog of Susanne.

Overwhelming

We were lucky to be here at the moment Putu Laura was born Komangs beautifull baby. We hope to be back here for many years to see her grow. Thanks for everything. Amed feels like home. Everything was nice, not only the Villa but especially all the people. To go to the market with Putu, the food of Wayan, the trips with Kadek, and Nengah smile... It was our first visit to Bali. We can say that Bali and the Balinese were overwhelming, we all had a wonderfull time.

Paradise

I am in Bali right now and I can't say anything else than this: Photos and stories don't even approach the real thing. This IS paradise. Sinar Cinta is the ultimate place to get back to nature and to 'retreat and refuell' from daily stress. Ita & Mary, thank you so very much for everything, even though our holidays are finished for a long time!!!!
