Practical information

You can reach Amed by walking along the beach, or driving over the paved road. Both will take you about five minutes. The town of Amlapura is half an hour by car. In the morning you can go there by minivan. Our staff can tell you where to stop them to get on. You can also rent a scooter. Ask our staff for advice! And if you can’t drive a scooter yourself, our staff will take you on the backseat.

Amed

Amed offers various Warungs (food stalls) and restaurants for eating out and a number of small supermarkets. Internet cafes provide access with dial-up connections. Just as in the villa, there are no problems when using your mobile telephone in Amed.

Amlapura

Visit Amlapura for banks and ATM machines, a post office and fast internet connections. Here you will also find large supermarkets, a local market and souvenir shops. Amlapura is a good place to buy gold jewellery.
